Panic scenes unfolded in Chalcidice last Friday (12.09.2025), just before 8am. A 5 -year -old little girl was playing carelessly on the edge of the sea on the beach of Agios Nikolaos (Sithonia) when one wolf She appeared from behind and bitten her and lifted her on her back.
According to the mother’s deposition to the police and the local authorities of Halkidiki, the wild animal caused injuries to the child before being repelled by stones by herself and a man there. The wolf was finally removed, thus saving the girl.
Initially, the young man was transferred to the local Health Center, and was then admitted to Polygyros Hospital. There, her first aid was provided and her health is not at risk.
