After its revelation circuit urban planners in Chalcidice which even issued illegal permits, the municipality of Sisonia took a series of decisions.
On the occasion of the case of the 21 arrested for participation in the ring of Halkidiki urban planning service employees who are accused of approving, without compensation, illegal actions and constructions, the mayor of Sithonia, Ioannis Mallinis, decided to suspend the operation of the building service (Town Planning) of the Municipality of Sithonia as regards serving citizens’ requests from 13/12/2024 to 07/01/2025.
In the decision, which was posted on the website of the Municipality, it is stated that the decision was taken, taking into account the provisions of the current legislation and “the special conditions that have been created following the implementation of the audit by the internal affairs service of EL.AS”.
The announcement states in detail:
“The Mayor of Sithonia after taking into account:
1. The provisions of article 86 of the 3463/2006 “On the ratification of the Municipal & Community Code” in combination with the provisions of article 58 of the law. 3852 “New Architecture of Self-Government and Decentralized Administration – Kallikratis Program” (Government Gazette 87/ vol. A/07-06-2010).
2. The provisions of article 94 of the 3852 “New Architecture of Self-Government and Decentralized Administration – Kallikratis Program” (Government Gazette 87/ t. A ́/ 07-06-2010).
3. The Internal Service organization of the Municipality (Government Gazette 4667/B/22.10.2020) as amended and in force
4. The special conditions that have been created following the audit by the internal affairs service of the Hellenic Republic of Greece
We decide to suspend the construction service (Urban Planning) of the Municipality of Sithonia in terms of serving citizens’ requests from 13/12/2024 to 07/01/2025″.
