To the Supreme Cooperation Council of Greece – Egypt took place in AthensUnder Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al -Sisi, Deputy Foreign Minister, responsible for economic diplomacy and extroversion, participated, Tasos Hatzivasiliou.
At the end of the work, Mr. Chatzivasiliou, with the Minister of Development Takis Theodorikakosmet with the Minister of Finance and International Cooperation Dr. Rania al-Masat and the Minister of Investment and International Trade Hassan El Hatib.
In contacts, the excellent level of the Greek -Egyptian relations. The prospects for further commercial and economic cooperation and investment in traditional sectors were discussed, such as shipping and tourism, as well as in the fields of new technologies and green energy, through projects that enhance interconnection, with the top of the Greek -Egyptian electric interconnection (Gregy intercon). In addition, the Deputy Foreign Minister discussed Greek exports and agreed with his counterparts to carry out a business mission in Cairo in 2025.
Deputy Foreign Minister Tasos Hatzivasiliou said: “Today’s meeting of the Greek -Egyptian Supreme Cooperation Council and the signing of the strategic corporate relationship between the two countries confirm the mutual commitment to closer cooperation. As the prime minister said, “the two countries are on the same bank against the great challenges in our region”.
With Development Minister Takis Theodorikakos, we met the ministers Dr. Rania al-Mashat and Hassan El Khatib and we discussed the strategic depth of our economic and commercial relations and the prospects of further cooperation.
