OR Spain proved to be the most difficult… track for National pole. Greece was defeated in the semifinals in an incredible way. Knowing the equilibrium in the last second (7-7) and ultimately the defeat in the penalty shoot-out (9-11).
The Men’s National Polo was back in the score of the semifinals with Spain, found himself playing with less for 4 minutes, after the elimination of Halivopoulos-for violent energy-made an over-effort, passed ahead of the score (7-6) but received a 7-7 draw (7-7). The qualification was lost in the penalty shoot -out, with Skoumbakis and Kakari – in order – unable to defeat Agire.
The players of Thodoris Vlachos should now be rebuilt and claimed the bronze medal on Thursday (24.07.2025, 12:35), against the defeated Serbia -Hungary match.
The match …
Greece was unable to take advantage of the advantage it was attacked by a player above, at the start of the match. Spain did it, opening the score (0-1) with Busto. The national pole was unable to score the player for the second time, with a beam with Kakaris.
Spain has shown to make more structured aggressive efforts and-in an attack with two players above-reached 0-2 with Sanahuia. Shortly thereafter, Greece reached its first goal in the semifinals, with Genidounia being apt in a penalty shootout. Spain achieved its third goal again with Sanachuia, to bring Genidounias again and reduce (2-3). In the finale of the first eighty, the blue -white had a beam with Guvetsi.
The Men’s National Polo started the second eight minutes with Skoumbakis’ beam. The two teams continued to do well in the defense, with Georgato making another good match in Greece. It followed a phase that struck the race. Halivopoulos did violent energy to his opponent (from Var he seemed to punch under the water) and was eliminated.
Greece stayed for the next minutes with less player, and received 2-4 from a penalty shoot-out and made a total of a 0-3 series (2-6 reached the score). Georgatos continued to do great interventions until time passes and the arithmetic balance in the match came back. As Greece and Spain came to equal, the blue-white reduced to the score (3-6) with Guvetsi.
After almost 3.5 minutes in the third period, Stelios Argyropoulos was the one who managed to score-finally in the player above for Greece, as up to that point he had 0/8 attempts-reducing the difference in two goals (4-6). The Men’s National Pole was unable to score in an attack with two players above and thus reduce more before the 3rd eighty.
