The gov.gr It continues to enhance the digital service of citizens, making their lives easier and limiting unnecessary bureaucracy.
Now, through gov.gr, citizens have the opportunity to start the process of expanding their driving license or obtain a certificate of professional capacity (said) in an easy and quick way.
The service, designed by the Ministries of Digital Governance and Infrastructure and Transportis available both via the gov.gr platform in the “Citizen and Daily” section and the “Movement” subsection, as well as directly on the site https://drivers-vehicles.services.gov.gr.
In the process, interested parties can either submit the application in person or authorize a Guide school they have chosen through a special application.
The procedure includes the completion of the necessary information, the payment of the respective fees and the required medical examinations per category.
Candidates can also choose the driver school that will train them, plan theoretical and practical exams, and complete the processes through the digital platform.
Once all the exams are successfully completed, the new license is automatically issued and the person concerned is informed by the application to receive it from the Region he had stated in the application.
This digital service is part of a series of over 20 digital solutions available to support and serve drivers and owners, further enhancing the digital transformation of transport services.
All the necessary information is automatically collected through the Interoperability Center of the General Secretariat for Information Systems and Digital Government, ensuring precision and security in the process.
