On the “16” dashboard of the sword completed their course in the European Championship fencing conducted in Genoa the Gudura gifts and Despina Georgiadou.
Initially the main board was qualified by Goudouras, Despina Georgiadou and Alina Kourousi, while Athenais Mavrikakis completed her presence in the clubs.
Gudura qualified without a race on the “32” board to prevail with Spanish Elena Ernande, 15-10. In the “16”, however, the Greek fencer saw Ukrainian Alina Komasuk excluding her 15-10. Gudura took 11th place.
Georgiadou won the victory over Belarusida Jana Sobal 15-10 and won the Ukrainian Olena Kravatska in the “64”. But in the ’16s’ Georgiadou lost 15-10 by Katinka Batay from Hungary. Thus, Georgiadou was compatible with 13th place.
Kouroussi lost in her first match with a 15-11 Bulgarian Emma Neikova to finish 37th.
