In a decisive step for Greek education, the Google with the support of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports, launches the program in Greece artificial intelligence “Experience AI”, which is designed by the Raspberry Pi Foundation and Google DeepMind.
The ‘Experience AI’ was presented as part of the ‘AI Connect’ event, which was organized by Google to promote dialogue on the role of Artificial Intelligence as an opportunity for the country.
Experience AI is part of the parallel curriculum, offering students the opportunity to participate in optional courses that enhance their educational experience and cultivate new skills.
It is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) learning program, specially designed to prepare the next generation for the future.
In Greece, the program is implemented by the ITE (Technology and Research Foundation) in collaboration with the Raspberry Pi Foundation and provides basic training to teachers.
The initiative targets high school students and provides teachers with free educational materials and knowledge in order to teach the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (ML) in an interesting and responsible way.

Google’s Commitment to the Education System of Greece
The introduction of the “Experience AI” program is part of Google’s ongoing commitment to support Greek public and private schools and educators.
Since April 2024, when the AI Skilling initiative was announced, with the aim of accelerating the digital transition through Artificial Intelligence and ensuring that the opportunities offered by AI are accessible to all, Google has trained more than 15,000 people in Greece in sectors of the public sector, business and academia on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
The AI education initiative, delivered through the Grow with Google platform, was carried out in collaboration with experts and partners, covering a wide range of AI-related topics, skills and knowledge levels.
This program highlights Google’s belief that every student, regardless of
background, he must have the opportunity to learn about Artificial Intelligence and develop
the skills necessary to excel in a rapidly changing world.
“Experience AI” paves the way for a new era in Greek education – an era where students are empowered to lead the age of Artificial Intelligence.
