The reactions
The British government has expressed a “great concern” about the interception of the Israeli lifelle. The Foreign Ministry said it is in contact with the families of British citizens who are on board.
Britain stressed that the humanitarian aid of the decoration must be safely delivered to organizations on the ground in order to reach the citizens of Gaza. He called on Israel to remove the restrictions immediately so that the UN and NGOs provide food, medicines and basic goods.
The Australian government, in turn, said that it is aware of “arrests” of the Israeli army activists and is ready to provide consular assistance to its citizens and asked all sides to respect international law and to ensure the security of those who are on.
Spain called on the senior Israeli spokesman to Madrid after the stopover. The Spanish Foreign Minister said 65 Spaniards were traveling by ships. It is recalled that last year Israel withdrew its ambassador from Spain after the recognition of a Palestinian state by Madrid.
Turkey described the Israeli intervention as a “terrorist act” that has jeopardized innocent citizens. The Istanbul prosecutor launched an investigation into the arrest of the 24 Turkish citizens on ships.
Brazil also condemned that intervention of Israel, as the Brazilians also participated in the intracelic, including a Member of Parliament. The Brazilian Foreign Ministry has accused Israel of violating rights and endangering “peaceful protesters”.
Israel: ‘Activists are safe’
The Israeli Foreign Ministry has announced that the arrested activists are “safe and healthy” and that they will start expulsion to Europe. Of the 44 humanitarian ships, Israel has stopped 32 so far.
Call for ‘safe passage’ and arrests
Mandla Mandela, a grandson of Nelson Mandela, who is on one of the ships, asked the international community to push for safe crossing in Gaza. He called on governments to demand the immediate release of activists in the event of arrest.

Lawyers on ships record violations of international law by Israel. These evidence will be sent to the International Court of Justice in The Hague. According to Al Jazeera’s correspondent, several ships are still trying to reach Gaza while another flutter has started from Sicily to Gaza.

Among the ships that were intercepted was the one on board by activist Greta Tancyberg, who according to Israeli authorities is among the detainees.
What about the Greek citizens of the lofty
According to the Greek Foreign Ministry’s briefing, the 27 Greeks who participate in the mission of the “Global Sumudilla Sumudilla”, including MP Petis Perka, heading to the Gaza war area, are in good health and it does not appear that there was a force against them.
