The Bodley Head (of the Penguin Group) said in his announcement that the English title of Pelico Memoirs would be ‘A hymn to life’ (“A Hymn to Life) and added that they are expected to be released on January 26, 2026 in 20 languages.
“I am deeply grateful for the excellent support I have received from the beginning of the trial,” Peliko said in the announcement.

Giselle Pelico writes her memoirs in collaboration with journalist and writer Zoudit Perinion, said the French publishing house Flammarion, who will publish the book in France on January 28, 2026, although it has not so far not announced its French title.
Gizel Pelico’s husband has been nodding her for years and called dozens of unknown men who found it on the internet to rape her. Pelico had denied the trial of its rape – which took place from September to December 2024 and attracted the interest of international public opinion – to be behind closed doors, stating that it wants to change the “shame” camp.

His 50 co -defendants, 27 to 74 years old, most of whom were found guilty of rape were sentenced to sentences of three to 15 years in prison. Some of them have appealed.
In December, the memoirs of Caroline Darian, her daughter Pelico, entitled “I will never tell him dad” (“I’ll Never Call Him Again”), were released in English. The book was released in French in 2022.
