THE Giannis Antetokounbos was unstoppable in his first game of this year with National basketball of Greece and fully improved the image of Vasilis Spanoulis’ team, leading it to a broad victory with a 104-86 over Latvia, in the friendly game for the Acropolis Tournament.
Although he played less than 16 minutes in the match, Yiannis Antetokounbos was the top of the court for as long as he was in the parquet and finished the match with an unlikely statistics, being the MVP of the match for Greece’s national basketball.
“Greek Freak” scored 25 points (9/11 two -pointers, 0/1 three -pointers, 7/9 shots), 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 2 plugs, at this year’s premiere with the “blue -white” and showed in the most imposing way, that the Greek national one is on the ground.
Antetokounbos naturally won the applause of the world at the OAKA.
