THE Carlos Alcarath kept his crown in Roland Garros With the Spaniard winning Yanik Sinner 3-2, winning the major final of the competition to win while losing 2-0. Over 5.30 hours the race lasted, in which the two athletes participated in a tennis game that would stay in history.
He had never won a Grand Slam match in which he lost 2-0. However, Alcarath in the biggest game of his career and one of the most exciting not only in Roland Garros, but in the history of tennis, took the win 3-2 and made the back to back in winning.
The first set was one hour and 12 minutes with Yanik Sinner making two Brake against one of Alcarath, making it 1-0.
Alcarath may have made the first Brake after “breaking” his opponent’s service in the 5th game, but Sinner’s response was immediate, with the Italian doing Brake too.
The two tennis players then held their service until the 9th game, where Sinner with excessive calmness and confidence made a brake and won the set with 6-4.
With his 1-0 in his favor, Sinner also entered the 2nd set, managing to make Brake in Alcarath in the 2nd game, putting the Spaniard on the ropes. Although No. 1 in the world showed a hug with victory, the Spaniard had other shots.
He managed to make Brake to make a 5-4 game, and then after the two athletes held their serve, the set was led to Tie Break.
There, Sinner showed more ready, making it 7-4, something that gave him the set, with a total of 7-6 in the games!
