“Perhaps it was a mistake that the chair (of Nikos Androulakis) was left empty in funeral of Dionysis Savvopoulos said on Thursday morning Pavlos Geroulanos.
“Explanations were given for the absence from the funeral. Savvopoulos marked us all positively but the PASOK was represented at the funeral” added Mr. Geroulanos speaking to SKAI.
In this context, he also said that “small or big mistakes are not what define you. There was no air of authority at Savvopoulos’ funeral. Mistakes will always be made in politics, these mistakes should not immobilize the executives whose job is to come forward and talk about PASOK”.
Asked to comment on the latest opinion polls, Pavlos Geroulanos said “most of the people are at home, if you count the abstention three PASOK are at home, our job is to mobilize this people. The work has begun and this will culminate with a conference that will show that PASOK is here”
Finally, when asked about the different opinions of PASOK officials, he replied that “a party in our political space is a composition party, different opinions will be heard and that doesn’t scare me at all, the confrontations don’t worry me, our own party can’t have sharp edges, the point is that we should all be ready to fight for the common good and I don’t see anyone who is in another direction”
