Germany in a “national state of emergency” for migration

‘National Emergency Status’ intends to preach the new Chancellor Friedrich Mertzin order to impose permanent controls on the land border on the Germany.

This is reported by a Welt newspaper and in its report stresses that the decision of Friedrich Mertz’s decision is informed by the ambassadors of the neighboring countries with Germany.

As the newspaper points out, the government wants to activate Article 72 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, suspending the Dublin regulation, with the aim of imposing permanent strict border controls and asylum rejection.

Exactly when the implementation of the “National Emergency” is not yet clear, Welt explains.

Yesterday, shortly after taking up his duties, the new Federal Interior Minister Alexander Dobrid (CSU) ordered asylum seekers rejecting the German border, overturning the 2015 decision that allowed immigrants to enter immigrants.

In a letter to the Federal Police, Mr Dobrid explained that “asylum seekers can be banned” and as exemptions he mentioned “vulnerable people”, eg. pregnant women.

Friedrich Mertz had repeatedly stated that the migration would be at the top of his priorities and that he would take measures from the first day of his term. As he had said, border rejections are legally feasible because those involved have crossed at least one of the neighboring countries of Germany, so a safe country of origin.

If, however, there is a problem with European law, then it should either be amended or declared a “national emergency”, he had stressed.
