The Foreign Minister met with his Egyptian counterpart for the out -of -court resolution of the issue that has arisen
The intention of the Greek and Egyptian side to work in the direction of maintaining the status quo of Sinai Monastery of Sinai, Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis announced after the meeting of the two countries’ delegations in Cairo.
“We have agreed immediately to work in the direction of the monastery’s rights, as well as its legal form and personality,” Mr Gerapetritis said, adding: “The intention of Egypt and Greece to proceed on the basis of the long -standing tradition and the long -standing tradition.”
