Pathologists at Drama Hospital for many years have resigned. When I became a minister, I was prioritized, I announced the positions, no one came, then they asked me to be motivated, and the ministry gave them financial incentives and the municipality, with whom I also had excellent cooperation, also declared the positions with them.

Then I received a delegation to my office consisting of the President of the Hospital Doctors, the President of the Association and local representatives, together with our MP Mr. Kyriazides, their main demand to announce other positions and other positions to come. Their request was accepted and we proceeded with the announcement of 20 posts for the Drama Hospital, 5 of them. We had applications for 15 out of 20 posts, for all other than the pathologists. Eventually we have already hired 8 and 2 more are expected to reach 10 doctors. In October, I have already announced that we will redeem all the positions that were left barren.

But because I was struck by why the motives we introduced attracted all other medical specialties other than the pathologists we need there, I decided today to go to the hospital to see closely what is really going on the solution to the problem that concerns us.
