Dear Mr. President,
By decision of the General Assembly of the shareholders of the company PORT PIRAEUS SA and approval of the then Committee of the House of Representatives, I was appointed Chairman and Managing Director of the above company during the period December 2009 – June 2015.
It is not in my report to come back to PPA SA’s issues. from HRIPED, to an offshore company in the Virgin Islands in violation of the directions of European Port Policy. I have fully exposed them in my reference to Parliament (No. 2645/30-06-2016) and with A18-111 (Piraeus) report, which was forwarded by the judicial authorities to Parliament (30.09.2019) and has remained pending since then. My reference is the main issue of recording a series of political and judicial prosecutions against me, against the members of the Board of Directors and Managing executives of PPA SA, precisely because of our opposing and substantiated views on the European Functioning of Greek Ports and of course PPA SA. A process that, with “anonymous” or guided accusations, has led, mainly through the Public Administration Auditors body with the well -known methods of scandal, to many persecutions.
With the issuance of the Parliament 377/2025 by the Piraeus Criminal Court, which was issued on 11-06-2025, I and all members of the Board of Directors were once again deleted. of PPA SA From the category of infidelity, which had been announced by the beginning of 2017. This was also the last of the persecutions, mainly for infidelity, from 2015 onwards.
A series of 32 judicial cases against me, of which 14 I acquitted, after lawsuits at the hearing, in 8 acquitted with bonds, 9 were filed and I was justified in 1 administrative character.
I note that all the prosecutors in the trials were exempt.
This reference is politically addressed to everyone, institutionally to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Justice and financially to investors.
Scandalology is always in its judicial expression, a product of politics and justice at the level of leadership. However, as the above, the judges were on the basis of their Constitution and their consciousness, honoring the functioning of justice.
