The companies that have opened in 2025 were overflowed in relation to those that were closed, according to data from the General Trade Register (GEMI), the Central Union of Chambers of Greece (KEAE).
In particular, according to the KEEE data, posted on its website, 17,082 companies opened and put a “padlock” of 5.107 respectively.
In 2024, at the same time, 21,631 companies had opened. This means that the foundations were 21.03% more than this year. Also, last year, 6,733 companies had closed, ie 24.15% more “padlocks” in the early 2024, than the first 2.5 months of 2025.
