Warehouse of the United Nations Global Food Program was looted Wednesday (28/5/25) by thousands of Palestinians in Deir El Bala in its lane Gauze.
The crowd left nothing behind, taking food bags and even wooden pallets, as reported by reporters from the French Agency (AFP) present in Gaza. According to shots recorded by AFP, shots were heard during the attack.
“Hordes of hungry people stormed the warehouse, searching for foods that had been classified earlier to distribute them,” the World Food Program (RIP) said in a statement, calling for “safe and unhindered access for humanitarian reasons to allow it to allow its immediate and uniform.”
He points out that he is trying to cross -check information about at least two deaths and several injuries during the invasion. “The PEP has repeatedly warned of the worsening situation (…) and the dangers of humanitarian aid to hungry people who have a desperate need,” he adds.
Israel accused Wednesday (28/5/25) the United Nations of attempting to “block” aid distribution in the Gaza Strip after 600 days of Israeli military operations. The UN, however, stresses that it is doing everything possible to deliver the limited amounts of humanitarian aid approved by the Israeli authorities.
