Occupation of the Morag corridor in its southern lane Gauze announced today (12.4.2025) his army Israelthereby cutting the city of Rafa from the town of Han Juni.
Rafa is now completely surrounded by the army, with the 36th Division of the Israeli army holding the Morag corridor and the Gaza Division operating in the corridor of Philadelphia, on the border with Egypt.
The 188th Armored Brigade of the 36th Division had been promoted to the Morag corridor from the northwest, while the famous Golani Brigade entered the border to the southeast. During the night, the two units were united.
The engineer forces are now constructing a road along the corridor, similar to the other corridors in Gaza occupied by the Israeli army during the war.
The army will now operate in areas of Rafa, where it has not been able to arrive so far, to eliminate the Hamas forces left there.

IDF has issued multiple civilian evacuation warnings to Rafa almost two weeks ago.
Eventually, the neutral zone of the Israeli army in southern Gaza will extend from the Egyptian border to the outskirts of Han Younes.
