Shortly thereafter, the Israeli prime minister called an emergency meeting with the staff of the Israeli Armed Forces to consider possible response options.
The military presented several scenarios, including the resumption of airstrikes and the expansion of Israel’s control zone in Gaza, under the current agreement. The meeting ended without an immediate decisionwith Netanyahu stressing that any action should be done in coordination with Washington.
