Tragedy in Gavdos with three migrants losing their lives after a boat overturned about 15 nautical miles south of the island.
Specifically, since the overturning of the boat with immigrants near Gavdos, the Coast Guard has collected three bodies, while the search for possible missing persons continues.
Two parasailing ships and two Coast Guard vessels are operating in the area, while an Air Force helicopter has also taken off.
So far, 56 people have been rescued by a ship of the Frontex force, which is participating in the operation. Investigations continue with all available means.
