In view of the new school year, the Municipality of Athens and Reception and Solidarity Center (KYDA) They join forces in an important social initiative, with the aim of supporting children from families in need.
In particular, the Saturday 6 September 2025citizens are invited to participate in a gathering of school supplies in order to ensure that no child will be deprived of the necessary supplies for the new school year.
The concentration will take place at Central Facilities of KYADAon the street Piraeus 35by the 09:00 in the morning until 14:00 noon.

A solidarity move for children
This particular initiative of the Municipality of Athens and KYADA gives all citizens the opportunity to support vulnerable families and help children start their school journey with dignity and smile.
The species to be gathered will be allocated to support the work of the Social Book of KYADA, which has been covering the relevant needs of the beneficial families of the Agency over time through the offer of school and office species, books and toys.
