Police Operation to identify and arrest a 76 -year -old for domestic violence, set up on Tuesday afternoon (15.07.2025) in Sperchiada at Fthiotis.
Officers managed to locate the place where the old man was hiding, who had hit his 48 -year -old foreign wife and then set fire to the house where they were staying in Thessaloniki!
Since then, LamiaReport.gr has been writing disappeared as his wife had reported him to the police for domestic violence and threat, as well as causing physical injuries, and then the arson accusation was added.
The 76 -year -old had found refuge in a warehouse outside Sperchiada, with a shotgun with him. After coordinated actions by Sperchiada police officers around 9pm on Tuesday night, the 76 -year -old was arrested, and the weapon allegedly held legally.
Subsequently, he was transferred to the Ambelokipi – Menemeni, who also had the investigation of the Thessaloniki Public Prosecutor who would decide on his further criminal treatment.
