Plantation with a total of –23- hemp seedlings, was detected in inaccessible rural – forest area Fthiotida. The plantation was extended to a specially designed area, which was exhausted and surrounded by dense and tall vegetation (holly and trees), in order to provide it with natural coverage and to be difficult to identify by the prosecution.
To identify planting, his police officers Department of Drugs Prosecution, Division of Prosecution and Lamia Crimesevaluated and utilized appropriate information and data that they collected with methodicality.
In the context Organized Police Operation that were which yesterday (25-09-2025) in the morning, a national was found who approached the space of the plantation with a two -wheeled motorcycle, entered inside and performed cultivation (watering – carving). When the above perceived the presence of police officers, he attempted to flee on foot, but eventually he was stopped, and resisted to cancel his arrest.
Police officers have eradicated and seized –23-dimensions of cannabis, from -1.7- to -3.4-meters. It was found that the irrigation of the plantation was done was made by a neighboring stream, while inside it was found and also seized cultivation tools (hug and shovel), fertilizer bag, watering hose and plastic water containers.
In the possession of the detainee, a small amount of raw cannabis, a small amount of money and a mobile phone were found and seized, while a knife was found and seized inside the two -wheeled motorcycle.
In a legitimate investigation subsequently conducted in his house, they found and confiscated:
- -12- kg and -750- grams of raw cannabis, in -3-nile bags,
- Closed image recording circuit, which recorded public space and consisted of -6- cameras, a computer center, a display and a router.
- -2- Portable transceivers (wireless), with the ability to obtain police frequencies,
- -9- hunting cartridges, as well as
- the amount of € 100 -euro.
In addition, the aforementioned two -wheeled motorcycle was seized.
The preliminary investigation was conducted by the Lamia Criminal Prosecution and Delineation, while the detainee, at the expense of the case file, will be referred to the Lamia Public Prosecutor’s Office.
