The New Democracy MEP and the European People’s Party, Fredd Bellerlaunched spikes against SYRIZA-PS, on the occasion of the announcement of the party’s press office, accusing him of a lack of understanding of how he operates European Civil Protection Mechanism.
In his post, Mr. Beleris stressed:
“SYRIZA is unable to understand how the European Civil Protection Mechanism operates.”
At the same time, he expressed his dissatisfaction with the political handling of the matter, noting:
“It is regrettable that the party’s press office chooses to speculate on the agony of members of the Greek national minority.”
Mr Beleris’ post is as follows: “It is worth noting how @Syriza_gr after 5 years – destructive – governance is still unable to understand how the European Civil Protection Mechanism operates. This mechanism never carries fire aircraft from a country facing high -risk winds and fires to a large extent on its territory towards a foreign country. On the contrary, solidarity always comes from states that are not threatened by severe phenomena. The volatile media operating in Albania come from Sweden, but are on a European mission.
At the same time, it is regrettable that the party’s press office chooses to save on the agony of members of the Greek national minority.
Now, in person, I would like to inform @Syriza_gr that yesterday I was in the villages around which the fiery fronts are being developed, while at the same time I mentioned how the European Civil Protection Mechanism operates.
