The Minister of Justice, Giorgos Floridis, confirmed that a criminal case file has been filed regarding the complaints against “Voice of Reason” of Aphrodite Latinopoulos, that its founding declaration contains forged signatures.
This is the complaint made by Aphrodite Latinopoulou’s former traveling companion, Konstantinos Bogdanos, which the head of the party denies.
According to the provisions of the legislation, a political party must submit its statute or founding declaration to the prosecutor of the Supreme Court, signed by at least two hundred citizens with the right to vote.
Responding to a question from the independent MP Giorgos Manousos, who was elected with the “Spartiates”, the Minister of Justice stated that “according to the document of the Athens First Instance Prosecutor’s Office under case no. 159680/10-10-2025 a criminal case file has been filed, which was forwarded on January 16, 2025 to the Pre-Investigation Department of the Court of First Instance of Athens for a preliminary examination and now, from July 16, 2025, it is being processed by a Prosecutor. Also, the case in question was associated on July 15, 2025 with a previous one, which was filed on May 13, 2025.”
Giorgos Floridis noted that the verification of the authenticity of the signatures results from a complaint of possible forgery, which is forwarded to the competent Athens District Attorney for his own legal actions, in accordance with the provisions of articles 43 et seq. of the Code of Criminal Procedure. He added that photocopies of the constitution of the political party or its founding declaration, with the signatures of the citizens, are forwarded by the Supreme Court to the Ministry of the Interior – Directorate of Elections – Department of Elections, which is in substance and by law responsible for everything related to elections and political parties.
