So in the strict control process of this organization, the new Hyundai i30 was awarded with the maximum score of five stars! In detail, it received a score of 90% in the ‘Protection of Children’ area, achieving the maximum possible score for protecting children at both the ages of 18-months and three-years-old. This result is best in class.

In the ‘Adult Occupant’ category, the new-generation i30 also scored 90%, while the vehicle’s head restraint and seat were singled out for providing excellent neck injury protection in the event of a rear-end collision.

It also received a very good score in the area of ​​”pedestrian” protection, for the protection provided by the vehicle’s bumper in the event of an impact with pedestrians’ legs. Notably, the i30 managed to achieve a score of 86% in the ‘Electronic Safety Systems’ category for the electronic stability program as well as the front and rear seat belt reminder systems.
