Firefighters save hedgehogs after fire extinguishing in Kilkis: Watch the moving video

The fire causes incalculable damage to people’s lives and all nature. Many forget that in the endless forests burning every year all over the globe, there are innocent animals that are in a state of panic to escape the flames. Unfortunately a few do. Within them and a sweet hedgehog surviving from the fire in Kilkis that broke out a few days ago and was identified by firefighters who were attempting to the spot.

Unfortunately, the firefighters every time they rush to the front of the fire they are confronted with complete destruction. Damaged houses, and possessions, injured people, burnt forests and charred hundreds of animals that could not be saved. But the firefighters who attempted in Kastoria found a hedgehog alive, unfortunately burned and tired of seeking help.

One of his firefighters put some water on a bottle cap and immediately the hedgehog started drinking it. His thirst was so great that he then started drinking quickly from the bottle.

The tender video was uploaded to Social Media by the Firefighting Greece account.

“During a fire extinguishing operation in Kilkis, firefighters not only saved the forest … but also a little friend of ours,” they wrote in the caption.
