The dismissal guard level crossing after a serious breach of duty announced OSE.
As highlighted, the dismissal of a level crossing by OSE was immediate. The guard had taken over the relevant service on the Serres – Thessaloniki line (Mouries), as it was found that he was missing unjustified from his post while working hours
The driver of the train 1635 alerted the authorities and immediately the guard replacement process was implemented, followed by his dismissal.
According to the OSE administration, now in the new framework for the tightening of penalties, such violations of duty will not be left without consequences. OSE’s reaction has been immediate and within the zero -tolerance framework adopted for issues related to railway safety.
