Alarm has been marked for fires and at Messinia.
On the afternoon of Thursday 28.08.2025 a fire broke out in the area of Anthousa, in the Municipality of Ochalia in Messinia.
The fire reportedly broke out near Meligala and five vehicles with twelve firefighters, a group of ten -person hikers arrived at the spot and two helicopters are assisted by air.
Earlier fire had also broken out in Petritsi, Messina. Thanks to the immediate intervention of the Fire Forces, the situation has been under control.
