A large extinguishing operation is underway fire that occurred early tonight (07.08.2025) in Agios Thomas of the Municipality of Gortynas Heraklion in Crete.
At the site of the fire in Heraklion, 88 firefighters with 4 teams of 3rd hikers and 20 vehicles have been rushed and operated, and OTA projects are also assisted.
The fire extinguishing operation makes it difficult to make the rough of the area.
According to the Fire Brigade, the fire has erupted in a farm area and has managed to a point where no settlement is threatened.
