Fire broke out late at noon on Friday (23.05.2025) at Avlona.
The ongoing fire was on low vegetation at the 56th km of the Athens-Thessaloniki Highway in Avlona.
To extinguish it at the site, 36 firefighters operate with a hiking section of the 4th EME, 10 vehicles while an aircraft and helicopter are assisted by air.

Due to the strong winds, today fires have erupted in Markopoulos and Koropi- fortunately, the latter has been under full control.
