A large mobilization of the Fire Brigades was recorded in Avlona Attica, at the 56th kilometer of the Athens-Thessaloniki National Road, due to fire that burst into low vegetation.
The immediate reaction was decisive, with 36 firefighters supported by a group of hiking section of the 4th EME, to operate on the spot. A total of 10 vehicles are involved in the effort, while an air supply a firefighter and a helicopter, enhancing the efficiency of the extinguishing.
Authorities remain on alert, as the danger due to weather conditions is always increased at this time.
