Finikounda: Raid on the house of relatives arrested for the double murder – Kalashnikovs and 500,000 euros were found

A raid on a remote house in a village in Thesprotia was carried out by ELAS men in the previous days, against the background of the double murder at Phoenician with victims of the owner of the campsite as well as his friend and caretaker.

The authorities proceeded with the secret police operation at the house of relatives arrested for the murder at the Finikounda campsite, bringing out a “bass”. Inside it was found heavy weapons such as Kalashnikovs but also 500,000 euros. How and why the police were led to check the particular house remains unknown.

Its owner appears to be a relative of one of those arrested for the massacre and that she lived for years in Belgium when she finally made the decision to return to her village with her children.

What makes the case even more mysterious is that the woman decided to remove her children from the local school and disappear, 3 days after the authorities arrested the 2 men about the murders in Finikounda.

Still no trace of her has been found.

Her relatives in the village claim that the her children could not acclimatize and for this reason they returned to Belgium.

“He doesn’t answer my phone. I don’t think he did anything. In Belgium where he was he had a shop, he had a little money and it was justified. I don’t know how the weapons got there. If something happened he would have told me,” the accused’s uncle told the Star.

The authorities’ investigation into the fatal shootings in Finikounda is ongoing as of now the moral author has not been found (if any) but and the weapons used.
