Felix Baumgartner’s partner shared the fatal flight with paratrooper of the famous athlete Extreme sports, just minutes before he crashed and lost his life – his name became worldwide known in 2012, when he made the legendary leap from space.
56 -year -old Austrian athlete Felix Baumgartner, killed last Thursday (17.07.2025) in a parachute accident In the Italian city of Porto Sant’elpidio.
Reportedly, Felix felt unwell and lost consciousness.
In a video shared on social media, his partner shows the unfortunate Athens preparing his parachute and starting the propeller before taking off in the summer sky.
“I recorded him taking off without knowing that this would be the last flight of his excellent life,” wrote Miha Schwartzenberg, 55, who was with Baumgartner from 2014- the video uploaded it last Saturday (19.07.2025) on X.

“For over 12 years I was there in every take -off and landing, from a free parachute, parachute, helicopter flights, paramilitary to acrobatics,” he wrote, adding that “now he is going home, where he was happier than ever.”
In the short video, the adrenaline lover seems to wear shorts and helmet as he activates his promoter and runs on the grass to take off.


As his wing fills with air and lifts him from the ground, he closes his legs.
Baumgartner allegedly lost control of the parachute and fell into force in a hotel pool. A woman was slightly injured by the fall near the spot.
Immediate rescue teams rushed to the spot to provide first aid. A helicopter transported Baumgartner to the hospital, but suffered a heart attack during the flight and ended up.
Austrian, in 2012, wrote a story when, with the help of a special capsule of Red Bull Stratos, rose to 39 km and fired a free fall, breaking the audio barrier at a speed of 1.25 Mach (1,357.6 km/h).
The preparation of the venture lasted for almost six years and live broadcast has gathered millions of spectators around the world.
