Fith Kipiegon from Kenya Renewed on Saturday (05.07.2025) her presence in the “Book” of the Records of the Athletics, rejecting her own world performance At 1500 meters with 3: 48.68, at the Wanda Diamond League meeting in Yujin.
The (multiple) world champion and Olympic champion wrote history last week, marking the fastest performance in the mile in history, though it was done in an unofficial and non -validable demonstration.
Kipiegon passed 400 meters in 1: 01.61 and 800 to 2: 03.17, with silver Olympic Jessica Hal. Australia was another or two steps behind Kipiegon in the last round, but the world record holder accelerated to escape.
As he rushed to the final line, there was no resistance to the 31 -year -old Kipiegon, who crossed the finish line at 3: 48.68 to beat nearly three seconds.
The three -time Olympian in the race surpassed her own record of 3: 49.04, which she had last July before the Paris Games.
