Greek MEP and Professor of European Law Nicolas Farantouris said by speaking to ERT:
“I watch carefully and participate in every political development. Certainly the resignation of the former prime minister Alexis Tsipras It is an important development that triggers wider political developments. I will be specifically placed on specific events and data when and whenever they exist. “
Speaking on Ert News’s “Off the Record” show, Nicolas Farantouris at the same time stressed that he remains “committed” to the work commissioned by the Greek people to represent him in the European parliament and European decision centers by 2029. “I have three critical folders here in front of me: OPECEPE and thousands of unpaid farmers throughout Greece, the battle against European budget cuts and issues Security and defense and the role of Turkey which some want to make it a pillar of EU architecture and we must oppose, “he said in a European Parliament in Strasbourg in which he is involved.
I follow every development and of course the resignation of the former prime minister is a major development that marks broader political developments. At the same time I remain committed to my work. I have 3 critical folders in front of me: OPECEPE scandal, budget, defense and Turkey. pic.twitter.com/Jm3vJeua8G
