To take initiatives for the massacres of Christians and Alevians in Syria, the Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis invites the MEP Nicolas Farantouris Through the Euronews news agency and in an open letter.
As he says:
‘Mr. Prime Minister,
You informed us that you contacted the head of the “transitional” government in Syria Al Jolani for the massacres. With you. But at the last EU summit, you also agreed to grant billions of euros to the Islamist regime of the former al -Qaeda executive, despite the atrocities of recent weeks. Why;”
And the Greek MEP continues:
“In the Euronews broadcast I reiterated what I saw on the two -day massacre I found in Syria. Thousands of cold murders of civilians, Christians and Alevians. Lubricant and humiliation. Hunting girls to wear scarves in schools. Terrorism in neighborhoods, even in Damascus.
Then, I informed the European Parliament’s plenary in Strasbourg and many MEPs from all Euro teams were drawn up with my position.
At the same time, I sent an official letter to the heads of the EU institutions, with which I ask:
He is sent a step of European officials to record the crimes.
Conditions of immediate termination of the slaughter of civilians, respect for human rights, and representativeness of governance in order to continue to remove sanctions.
â–º An immediate election. Because a five -year transitional regime and we see, it cannot be accepted.
Without these conditions, the European Union cannot continue to support former al -Qaeda terrorists under the auspices of Turkey. “
And Nicolas Farantouris ends:
“I call on you, Mr Prime Minister, to take similar initiatives. It is now with silence, slavery and tolerance for ethnic cleansing. “
I go to the slaughter of Christians and Alevites in the #Syria 🇸🇾.
