Today, Monday (30.6.2025) according to the panel The Synagogue of the Holy 12 Apostles and the memory of the Holy Meliton Martyr, Saint Gervasios in Patras, are honored.

The Synaxis of the Saints 12 Apostles
The apostles of Christ will stand out in the history of the Church, like the ultra -large stars of first -rate spiritual life. On June 30, the Church celebrates the twelve Apostles initially elected by the Lord, except for Judah Iskariotis.
These are: Simon (Petros), Andreas, Jacob, Ioannis, Philip, Thomas, Bartholomew (Nathaniel), Matthew, Jacob of Alleus, Simon the Zealot, Judas, Judas, his brother Iakos of Iscariot.
The life of each of these Apostles, we sketch on their special celebrations. Here it is a reminder of the unity they had with each other, but also of their morals, which contributed so much to the spiritual in Christ Renaissance of the world.
So we have a debt, and we, the struggling Christians, move on to their traces and with a warm zeal to disseminate the salvific message of the Gospel, which was also mimicked by their work.
