Saints Chrysanthos and Daria

The Holy Martyrs Chrysanthos and Daria lived during the times of King Noumeerian (243 – 284 AD). Saint Chrysanthos came from Alexandria and was a son of a prominent idolatrous, the War. But he was dated in Christian faith by a Christian and was baptized. When his father was informed of the incident, he was imprisoned and, in order to get him out of the Christian faith, gave him his wife the beautiful Daria, who came from Athens and was a idolatrous.
