Announced today (18.3.2025) the extension of submission applications In 7 energy upgrade programs. Specifically, for the program saving 2025, applications are extended until April 13, 2025.
In addition, for programs I change a heating system and water heater, Improving Energy Efficiency of Mountain Tourist Accommodation, Athens, Phoebus and Promotion of energy efficiency in DEYAsubmission of applications is extended until April 30, 2025.
Finally, for the program Business storage systems Applications are extended until May 31, 2025. The above programs were announced at the beginning of the year.
The Ministry of Environment and Energy made this horizontal extension for the seven programs, with the aim of facilitating the candidate beneficiaries in trying to collect and properly submit the required supporting documents provided for programs.
In particular, programs totaling EUR 872.7 million include:
1. Save 2025 (396.1 million)
The program relates to the energy upgrading of housing, and in particular buildings used as a main residence (detached and individual apartments) and the right to participate have owners or employees who meet the terms of participation defined in the program’s implementation guide.
Includes separate motives (increased grant rate and special budget):
- To support families with a member/members of the disabled.
- Families with at least three dependent children.
- Vulnerable households (based on income criteria).
- Affected (earthquake -stricken and flooded).
Eligible costs of the program include the following: replacement of frames, upgrading-instruction of thermal insulation, upgrading heating-cooler system, hot water-use system using renewable energy sources (RES) and other energy saving interventions, such as the installation of smart management system (SMA).

2. I change heating system and water heater (223.2 million)
The program concerns the strengthening of households for the installation of new water heaters and/or modern technology heat pump systems, it is also possible to replace the old technology electric heaters. However, this provision is not a prerequisite for the involvement of interested parties in the program.
The program is aimed at households wishing to place the above eligible equipment in their home (main or secondary residence, rented or assigned).

3. Athena (37.2 million)
The program concerns the improvement of the energy efficiency of kindergarten and elementary schools in the entire territory.
Beneficiaries of aid are first -degree OTAs, as well as the Legal Entities of Public Law (NPAs), operating elementary schools and kindergartens.
Interventions related, inter alia, to the energy used for technical systems (eg for heating, cooling), as well as in susceptible parts of the building, which allow thermal losses (eg windows, ceilings, etc.).

4. Phoebe (12.4 million euros)
The program concerns the improvement of the energy efficiency of municipal nursery, nurseries and kindergartens throughout the territory.
Beneficiaries of aid are first -degree OTAs, as well as their LPDs, which operate municipal nurseries, kindergartens and kindergartens.
Improvement of energy efficiency is associated with interventions in the shell of buildings and their technical systems (eg thermal insulation of opaque elements and waterproofing ceilings, replacement of transparent elements such as frames and glazing, heat pump installation, etc.).

5. Improving energy efficiency of mountainous tourist accommodation (EUR 10 million)
The program relates to the energy upgrading of mountainous, tourist accommodation. 10% of its budget will be allocated exclusively to traditional-registered buildings (EUR 1 million) and 90% (EUR 9 million) in all other mountainous tourist buildings.
Expenditure on the implementation of energy upgrades as well as supportive costs, such as. for services necessary for the submission, monitoring and control of the application.

6. Promotion of energy efficiency in Municipal Water and Sewerage Enterprises (EUR 40 million)
The program aims to reduce the consumption of primary energy pumping plants by at least 20% and CO₂ emissions by 20% per year, by interventions of energy upgrading and improving operational efficiency in DEYA pumping stations.
The program’s eligible actions are divided into two main categories:
- Immediate energy upgrades, including improvements in pumping stations and support through energy controls and folder preparation.
- Long -term energy -saving strategic studies.

7. Business storage systems (EUR 153.7 million)
The program grants businesses, regardless of size and industry, for installing storage systems (battery) in designed photovoltaic systems or to install storage (battery) systems in existing, active photovoltaic systems.
In both cases, the storage system is subsidized exclusively.
