Successfully completed the first phase of trial trial activation of siren Civil Defense Alarm this morning, as part of the exercise “Parmenion 2025ยป.
According to the plan of the “Parmenion 2025” exercise at 11:00 am, sirens of air attack sirens, with the alarm expiring five minutes later.
A special, local test in the northeast of the country followed (Eastern Macedonia, Thrace, Lesvos and Lemnos), which ended at 11:15 in the morning.
The exercise has now been completed and there is no reason to worry about citizens.
At the same time, the bells in the churches of the territory were hit with a series of short bells at a rapid pace of three minutes.
