A charred corpse fire which was made in a car, which was on the Alexandroupolis – Orestiada highway, at Evros.
A total of 10 firefighters with 5 vehicles were attempted at the spot, who managed to extinguish the fire, but found a charred corpse in the Orestiada area in Evros inside the vehicle.
The corpse was received by an EKAB ambulance and was transferred to necropsy – necrotomy, while investigations into identify the identity of the dead and the causes of the fire are underway.
The competent investigative department of the Fire Department is investigating the incident, in cooperation with the police authorities in the area.
