Just 0.2% increased the GDP of the eurozone in the second quarter of 2025, while seasonally corrected GDP increased by 0.1% in the eurozone and by 0.2% in the EU, compared to the previous quarter, according to EUROSTAT, the European Union Statistical Service (EU).
In the first quarter of 2025, GDP increased by 0.6% in the eurozone and by 0.5% in the EU. Compared to the same quarter of the previous year, seasonally corrected GDP increased by 1.5% in the euro zone and 1.6% in the EU in the second quarter of 2025, after +1.6% in the EU.
In the second quarter of 2025, GDP in the United States increased by 0.8% compared to the previous quarter (after -0.1% in the first quarter of 2025). Compared to the same quarter of the previous year, GDP increased by 2.1% (after +2.0% in the previous quarter).
Denmark ( +1.3%) recorded the largest GDP growth compared to the previous quarter, followed by Croatia and Romania (both +1.2%). Reductions were observed in Finland (-0.4%), Germany (-0.3%) and Italy (-0.1%).
