In an important step to further enhance the portfolio real estate she did her Eurobank.
Specifically, Eurobank has made new lease agreements in order to secure long -term revenue. At the heart of these agreements are the Green Plaza business complex in Maroussi, as well as an important property in Patras. As the reconstruction of the historic building located at the intersection of Stadiou Streets and Kolokotroni 1 and is known as Athens Melathron.
The agreements, published in the General Trade Register (GEMI), include modifications and new real estate leases with Grivalia Hospitality SA, Grivalia Management Company SA. and Praktiker Hellas SA SA. With a total monthly rent of more than 40,000 euros, the bank secures steady revenue from its properties, maintaining control of the premises and expanding its real estate activities.
The first agreement concerns the lease of office and parking spaces at Green Plaza to Grivalia Hospitality SA, with a monthly rent of EUR 21,836.70 and duration by 2029. The second agreement is signed with Grivalia Management Company SA, which acquires new spaces in EUR 19.918.70 per month and validity by 2029. In any case, Green Plaza turns into a powerful business hub that houses companies directly related to Eurobank, giving new dynamics to the market for professional real estate.
At the same time, the third contract concerns the extension of the lease of commercial property in Patras with Praktiker Hellas, which will be able to expand by 2028.
This Eurobank strategy shows that the bank does not choose the sale of real estate – a tactic that many businesses follow to enhance their liquidity – but prefers the long -term use of its premises through fixed leases. This allows it to maintain significant assets in its portfolio, while ensuring a fixed revenue current.
It is recalled that the company also has a serious presence at the Stadium, as it has acquired € 50m in Athens Melathron. This 8 -storey property, estimated to be ready in 2028. Its plans are on the ground floor of the building to open a branch of the Bank and on the other floors to move its administrative services, as the recently renovated Homer and Stadiou Streets is not enough to meet its increased needs.
This property is 28,800 square meters, on a plot of 946 square meters, and on its ground floor it housed well -known shops, while the balance was operating until recently as office spaces and housed the Securities and Exchange Commission on both HRIPs.
Also, Eurobank has already settled by Bodosakis Palace at the headquarters of the former Phoenix Insurance, at the intersection of Homerou 2 and Stadiou 12, opposite the old House. The building was acquired in 2018 by Grivalia, which invested 15m euros to upgrade it to a green building, certified by LEED.
