In the wake of the Israeli attack on Doha earlier on Tuesday (09.09.2025), the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan Contact late at night by phone with his Emir Qatar.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan assured Qatar’s Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al -Thani, that Ankara will stand by the Emirates in every way, in the wake of the Israeli attack on Doha on Hamas leaders.
According to the Turkish Presidency, Tayyip Erdogan condemned the attack – which constitutes a “blatant violation of Qatar’s national sovereignty” – stressing that Israel seeks escalation of conflict, increasing tensions and destabilization of the wider region.
