Erdogan postponed both his appointment with Georgia Meloni

Following the cancellation of the meeting with Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s appointment with Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni on the sidelines of the 80th UN General Assembly in New York was canceled.

According to Rai State Television, Agenzia Nova and the financial newspaper “Il Sole 24 Ore”, Turkey’s president was scheduled to meet the Italian prime minister Georgia On Tuesday (New York Time), that is, on the same day that it was agreed to make the postponed appointment with Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

However, the Melon -Erdogan meeting was postponed, with the media in Rome referring to restrictions on the programs of the two leaders.

It is recalled that associates of Tayyip Erdogan have asked the Greek mission in New York to postpone the meeting with the Greek Prime Minister because the Turkish president was invited to attend a meeting of US President Donald Trump with leaders of Arabic and Muslims. For the same reason, the meeting with the Italian prime minister was canceled and as well as with Kyriakos Mitsotakis nor with Mrs. Meloni, there was time to reschedule their meeting.
