With the new two vessels, the Turkish fleet will now have a total of six floating drills and Turkey will be the fourth country in the world in terms of occupation of these units, according to Recep Tayyip Erdogan following the meeting of the Council of Ministers in Ankara.

In the past few days, a Turkish report said that the state -owned oil company TPAO bought two new Norway floating drilling for natural gas investigations. According to the report, one of them will be used in Libya and the other off the coast of Tasutzu in Mersina, southern Turkey.

The news was published on July 7 by the Haberdenizde.com shipping website, according to which floating drills called West Draco and West Dorado belonged to the fleet of Norwegian Eldorado drilling and will now be in service with the other four tso drills.

TPAO allegedly paid $ 245 million for each of the two ships, which, after being transported to Turkey, will first go through maintenance and control stage and then sent to the areas where they will take action.

Turkey already has four floating drilling bearing the names: Fatih, Yavuz, Kanuni and Abdulhamid Han.
