In addition, the EODY report states that two new intakes and 42 new imports of patients with a coronovation and a new serious case of flu were recorded.
At the same time, the plot of influenza in the community has a downward trend, while at low levels the positivity for Covid-19 continues to be at low levels.
Fluid Subscription – Ili (regardless of pathogenic)
The number of incidence of influenza subscription per 1,000 visits from week 9/2025 has a downward trend. In the last week there was a significant decrease compared to the previous week.
Severe Acute Respiratory Infection – Sari (regardless of pathogenic)
The number of Sari outbreaks per 1,000 visits has been downgrade from the beginning of 2025, with small weekly fluctuations. In the last week there was a slight increase compared to the previous week.
SARS-COV2 virus-COVID-19 infection
The positivity to all controlled samples remains at low levels. 42 new imports were recorded. The average weekly number of new imports in the previous four weeks was 72.
Two new tubes were recorded. The average weekly number of new intubations in the previous four weeks were also two. The number of patients with COVID-19 infection who are hospitalized is five.
Three new deaths were recorded. The average weekly number of deaths in the previous four weeks was four.
Influenza
The plot of influenza in the community (as estimated by the Sentinel PFI surveillance network) has a total downward trend, falling under the last week below the threshold that marks the seasonal activity of the influenza. There were no flu samples from the Sari Surveillance Network.
During the last week a new serious case of ICU hospitalization and two new deaths were recorded by laboratory confirmed influenza.
Respiratory Syndrome – RSV
The activity of RSV remains mild, both in the community (Sentinel PFI surveillance network) and Sari’s surveillance network, showing small weekly fluctuations.
