Persecution took place on Saturday morning August 30 in Koswhen a motorbike with three occupants refused to stop at a police signal, even moving to Akti Kountouriotou Street.
According to Kosmosnews24, the pursuit began when the driver developed speed by attempting to escape, but the motorbike was immobilized shortly after the police at the intersection of the Kos – Kefalos provincial road with Thalia Nikolaidou Street.
The three passengers left the vehicle and fled.
In an attempt to arrest, one of them attacked police officers, slightly injuring a police officer.
The perpetrator of the attack was arrested, and after a while the driver of the two -wheeler, both Dutch nationals, was arrested.
The two detainees will be referred to the Criminal Prosecutor’s Office.
The injured police officer was preventively taken to Kos Hospital where he was examined
